Initially, we will assess your teeth to make sure that an immediate denture is the right treatment for you. We will then take impressions and ask the dental laboratory to produce your custom made immediate dentures.
If the immediate denture is small (i.e. replacing 1-3 teeth), the laboratory can produce the denture without any further information usually within 24 hours. If the immediate denture is going to be replacing many teeth, then the laboratory will also need a registration of your bite and construction of your denture could take a few days to complete.
Once the denture is ready, we will then fit the denture immediately. A follow-up appointment maybe needed to review the denture as dentures sometimes need adjustments.
