A new study has established a link between maintaining oral health and type 2 diabetes management. Research scientists, situated at the University of Barcelona, have reported their findings on the subject. The findings show that patients with Type 2 Diabetes who employ and maintain a good oral health care routine are more likely to have lower blood glucose levels. The study involved the participation of ninety individuals with Type 2 Diabetes. After six months following a set oral hygiene routine results showed improvement in blood glucose levels. This is a fantastic discovery. Which could result in many people managing their diabetes and dental health more effectively.
