Cher Lloyd may be prompted to get cosmetic dentistry after receiving some rather scathing comments about her image from one US source.
The X Factor contestant recently headed across the pond to try and crack the US market and has been spotted hanging around with Will.i.am and Lil Wayne.
However, Juliet Izon, senior news reporter at Life & Style magazine, laid into the teenager after apparently deciding that her image is unsuitable for the music scene over there.
"With her style, Cher would send the American paparazzi fleeing," the writer commented.
She added that there is "no chance" she will get audiences to take to her unless she "gets her teeth fixed" and stops doing her hair like "a wannabe Rihanna".
According to the Daily Star, Lloyd has told friends that she wants to be as big as Leona Lewis on both sides of the Atlantic.
The singer may want to follow in the footsteps of her idol Cheryl Cole. The Daily Mail recently suggested she had dental veneers, Invisalign braces and teeth whitening to achieve the polished look she sports now.
