A woman has gone to Hungary for an emergency dentistry treatment.
A woman from Alrewas in Staffordshire travelled to Hungary to have emergency dentistry treatment carried out after her local dental professional killed the nerves in one of her teeth.
Julia Vorley, aged 40, made the trip to Budapest following an accident by her local dentist.
Ms Vorley had gone to the surgery after contracting an infection in one of her teeth. In order to treat the infection, the unnamed professional began killing the nerves in her upper jaw to stop it spreading.
She noted all of her upper teeth have now had to be replaced with dental implants, costing her in excess of £6,000.
Elsewhere, DNA Health recently reported people could lose their teeth simply because they are failing to produce enough saliva.
The publication noted saliva contains calcium and phosphates key to the remineralisation process of tooth enamel and as a result, it is important for people to keep themselves well hydrated.
