A new iPhone app lets people see how teeth whitening would work for them.
A new iPhone app that enables the user to see what they would look like if they carried out a teeth whitening treatment has been launched. 
Dental Office Magazine reported the Whitening Simulator, which is now available at the iTunes App Store, lets people get a sneak peek of the results of teeth whitening without ever stepping foot in a dentist’s office.
Rod Kurthy, a cosmetic dentist and inventor of the KoR Whitening Deep Bleaching System, noted it allows patients to get a realistic idea of how teeth whitening could work for them.
He said: “Using this app, people are not only entertained by a better vision of their smile, but they’re actually motivated to start taking better care of their oral health.”
Elsewhere, Dolph Henderson recently wrote in a piece for Ozcar Guide that it is important for patients to ensure they have good oral health before embarking on a course of teeth whitening.
