A new teeth whitening lamp has been created.
A new desktop lamp has been created that promises to whiten a person’s teeth.
Cosmetic Dentistry Guide reported the maker of the Desktop Teeth Whitener Lamp has been released and it claims it can help whiten teeth by up to five shades through just half an hour’s use each day.
Individuals looking for a brighter smile apply a whitening gel that comes with the lamp and this is then activated by a blue light which the lamp emits.
The device is currently retailing in the UK for £250.
Elsewhere, Big News recently reported the use of light-activated teeth whitening systems is less cumbersome for patients and could provide faster results than using a tray.
Dentists can apply a gel to the teeth and activate it to gain greater control over the whitening process.
“Historically, the use of trays for whitening trays appeared on the scene in early 1900 … Initially, it was used only for stained and discoloured teeth by the dentists’ in-office,” the publication claimed.
