An aspiring model was left needing emergency dentistry after she became the victim of a vicious attack over the weekend.
Lucy Roberts, 16, was on her way to a fashion shoot in Lewisham when she was set upon by an unknown assailant on Friday (October 29th 2010), the Southern Echo reports.
She was told she would die and suffered a savage beating before the man was scared away by two passersby.
Lucy's face swelled up to twice its usual size and she sustained cuts close to her eye, as well as having two of her front teeth knocked out, leaving her fearing her modelling career may be ruined.
Detectives are now hunting the man while Lucy, who said she felt as though she was in a horror film, is recovering.
In August 2010, a 19-year-old woman fell victim to a random attack in Harlow that left her also needing emergency dentistry, with her assailant seeking her out from the outside of a club.
