A visit to the emergency dentist in London could be called for if a person clenches their jaw when asleep – but now a new product could help the problem.
Plackers has launched the Grind-No-More Night Protector to help those who suffer from the medical condition known as bruxism.
The company pointed out that grinding and clenching gnashers can cause significant pressure on the enamel.
It added this could cause "enormous amounts of irreversible damage".
This could mean people who grind their teeth need to visit an oral health professional to find out about teeth implants or cosmetic dentistry.
Commenting on Placker’s new product, chief executive officer of Ranir Christine Henisee said it could improve dental hygiene.
"The Grind-No-More Night Protector is an easy solution for people who grind their teeth and want the hygienic benefits of a disposable product," she asserted.
However, if teeth grinders do find their habit results in a broken canine or incisor, they could visit an emergency dentist in London to find out which treatment would be best for them.
