2010 is set to be a good year for teeth whitening treatments.
This year will see the launch of a range of new teeth whitening products, it has been announced.
The White Teeth Company has claimed there will soon be a treatment to suit every pocket.
In addition, it noted specific teeth whitening clinics are popping up across the UK – especially in the south of England – with demand for the service continuing to grow.
Marketing manager Jason Scott noted: “Products can range from a few pounds for home whitening kits purchased in supermarkets or online to more professional services like laser teeth whitening.”
Elsewhere, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recently advised anyone contemplating a teeth whitening procedure to weigh up all courses of action before carrying out the procedure.
The organisation noted that side-effects can include increased tooth sensitivity, tissue irritation or possible root damage, although in the majority of cases these issues will not be felt.
