A new dentist’s surgery is opening in Pickering.
A new emergency dentistry surgery is set to open in Pickering, North Yorkshire.
The Gazette & Herald reported Dr Isobel Greenstreet is set to move to a new surgery at the Hungate Joinery Works in Hungate.
She noted her previous premises have been “bursting at the seams” for the last four years and she is therefore extremely happy to have found a new place to work.
Ms Greenstreet has been working in Pickering for six years and now has more than 975 patients on her books, meaning the move to larger accommodation could not have come at a more opportune time.
Local councillor Tommy Woodward noted with the influx of new residents to Pickering, it is good news to hear that dental provisions are set to increase.
Elsewhere, the Bolton News recently reported a new dental “super-centre” has been earmarked for construction in Burnley.
The development will offer facilities for up to 10,000 patients and will help to ease the strain on dental provisions in the area.
