DentalXPress has been launched for Brits looking for an emergency dentist.
The UK’s first mobile emergency dentist’s surgery has been launched, it has been revealed.
Cosmetic Dentistry Guide reported DentalXPress has set up six roving clinics that will be moving around the UK offering emergency dentistry treatments to patients who cannot get an appointment at NHS surgeries.
Amarjit Gill, a spokesperson for DentalXpress, said: “The mobile clinics have all the regular amenities found at static dental practices. They contain a waiting area, four private treatment rooms, disabled toilets and even a staff room.”
Each of the mobile centres is staffed with three qualified dental professionals and bookings can be made in advance via telephone.
Elsewhere, dentists in Los Angeles have begun carrying out teeth whitening treatments to help match a patient’s teeth colour to any other work that is carried out.
Mr Shahab Akhavan of ladentist.com noted Zoom teeth whitening has become an increasingly popular treatment, as it has a shorter healing time and can provide a faster result.
