A man who was due to be an usher at his best friend’s wedding was left needing cosmetic surgery after a misadventure during a night out.
Jonathan Bourne told Dentistry.co.uk that he had been taking great care with his appearance in the run-up to the ceremony because he wanted to look good for the event.
However, 24 hours before the big day, Mr Bourne went out in his native Devon – and awoke the next morning without one of his front teeth.
Although he said he has no idea how it happened, the would-be usher quickly rang around and managed to get an appointment to have cosmetic dentistry.
Luckily, Mr Bourne got the tooth fixed and said he was able to “have a fantastic day – and I was able to smile in all the photos!”
Last month, it was revealed that Hilary Duff also needed cosmetic dentistry before her wedding, as she chipped a tooth hours before she was supposed to take her vows.
