A dentist from Miami has been singing the praises of Invisalign braces after using them at his practice.
Dr Hamid Nassery from the Miami Beach Dental Institute told World News Report that he finds the correctors an ideal way to realign teeth without having to use traditional, train track-style varieties.
"For our patients, the option is often a win-win situation," he commented. "Invisalign offers patients the chance to enjoy a beautiful smile while undergoing orthodontic work."
Dr Nassery added that the technology is helping to prevent the problem of adults avoiding having dental work done because they are self-conscious about their appearance.
Last month, Dr Darren Dickson from Plano in Texas also lauded Invisalign braces, saying they prevent the need for extensive follow-up appointments.
He explained that this particularly appeals to busy young professionals who cannot afford long periods of time off work in which to have their teeth fixed.
