An accident in a nightclub left one man needing dental veneers. A man is suing a nightclub in the US after he was left needing dental veneers because of an injury he sustained there.

Jake Quagliaroli, 34, was watching an exotic dancer at PT's Showclub in Indianapolis and was situated about 20 feet from the stage.

However, the performer's shoe came off during one of her moves, hitting the patron in the face and chipping two of his teeth.

Mr Quagliaroli claimed the incident had caused "lifelong dental injuries" that will require dental veneers and perhaps root canal treatment in future.

He is now suing the establishment for negligence, insisting that warning signs should have been put up near the stage.

Club representative Bill Powers said the matter is currently with the insurers.

Newsmax.com recently stated that dental veneers are suitable for chipped, misaligned, discoloured or misshapen teeth, but should always be fitted by a professional to ensure they will last.
