Liam Gallagher had extensive cosmetic dentistry work done before his new band Beady Eye was unveiled to the world, it has been claimed.

According to the Mirror, the former Oasis singer went to have a range of treatments including dental veneers when his management pointed out that his teeth weren’t quite up to scratch.

“His teeth were pretty dodgy. Beady Eye is a big deal for Liam and he felt under pressure to look his best for his musical comeback,” an unnamed source told the newspaper.

The mole also added that his new, perfectly-aligned smile will be more suitable if the band decides to try and crack America.

Gallagher also had cosmetic dentistry in 2002 after he was punched in the mouth in a bar in Munich.

Beady Eye is made up of Gallagher, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock and the album Different Gear, Still Speeding, the group’s first, was released last month.
