Despite her album jumping right to number one, Lana Del Rey has had a rough couple of weeks, ‘Born To Die’ received mixed reviews – some describing it as ‘dull’ and ‘dreary’, following a woeful performance on Saturday Night Live, that saw her mauled in the press by music-lovers and critics alike. But the twenty-five-year-old isn’t letting it get her down; she met fans outside Amoeba Music in Los Angeles, sporting a sparkly new tooth cap that certainly brought some extra bling to her normally toned-down style.
Only a few weeks ago, the ‘Video Games’ singer was seen in London, wearing a gold cap on the same tooth – perhaps she’s trying to start a new trend. Unfortunately for Lana, she’s not the first celebrity to try dental restorations, singer Kesha is often seen performing with a gold crown over one of her front teeth, and it seems to fit better with her party girl image. Lana’s skin tone and light hair meant that fans couldn’t help but notice the sparkly new addition as she posed for photos and signed autographs outside the recording studio.
Lana – whose real name is Elizabeth Grant – has recently appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman and was appearing at Amoeba Music to perform some of her new songs, as well as to garner some publicity for her debut album.
