Helen Flanagan talks candidly about anti-ageing treatments following the birth of her second baby. The decision to undergo the anti-wrinkle treatment arose due to feeling tired and ‘less glamourous’ after giving birth and during the months that followed. She also said that she felt that each child had aged her body.
The Coronation Street star posted on her Instagram the reasons for her cosmetic treatment and her feelings toward it. “I felt super tired from having Delilah and I wanted to feel fresher and more confident in myself. I nursed Delilah for 13 months so had to wait until I finished for anti-ageing treatment and wanted to feel more glamorous and have myself back a bit.”
However, Helen received mixed reviews and feedback from her fans on the post. With some agreeing with her decision more than others. Most could agree though that they appreciated her honesty. Also, aside from the obvious anti-ageing properties, the star received the injections in her armpits to stop profuse sweating. A problem that occurred due to hormone changes. Helen has praised the treatment and said that she does not feel as self-conscious now the sweating is under control and her face looks fresher.
