Can you work out and halt emergency dentistry at the same time? Christie Brinkley has revealed she stops herself from getting bored by performing exercises and emergency dentistry prevention at the same time.

The 58-year-old supermodel told Shape magazine she is a big fan of multi-tasking and works out while drying her hair or cleaning her teeth.

"When I am brushing my teeth, I'm bending my leg behind me. Or I'm lifting my leg up and holding it in that position so I'm squeezing my butt in," she explained.

Brinkley also said she keeps her arms toned by running down the sand near her home in the Hamptons and swinging them around adding: "I call it swimming down the beach."

While the supermodel's tips may sound like a timesaver, doing other things while brushing teeth may mean not concentrating on them enough to prevent emergency dentistry.

Colgate recommends brushing for at least two minutes, paying particular attention to the gumline, hard-to-reach back teeth and areas around fillings in order to avoid decay.
