The organisation encouraged people looking for a whiter smile to consider the benefits of having the procedure, which it explained had developed significantly over recent years and is now relatively quick and pain-free.
Patients were advised that they would no longer need to be anaesthetised while the dental work is carried out, as the process is now less invasive.
It stressed that teeth whitening toothpastes and mouth trays would have to be reused every few months in order to maintain the desired effect, whereas the veneers are good value for money, due to their durability.
