Elsewhere, Tim Burke recently wrote in a blog post for the Palm Beach Post that following tooth loss, having dental implants installed can help patients stop their teeth from splaying and becoming crooked, leading to them not needing to be removed.
He noted dental implants provide both support to the surrounding teeth and give the jaw bone a tooth to hold on to so it will not contract and weaken in that area.
