Barnet and South Gate College, located in Barnet gets a new dental science centre. The refurbishment plans have stated that the college will be ready for its grand opening in September of this year. As a result of these new plans, the makeover is set to include three state-of-the-art laboratories and will have the latest industry equipment.

Some of the new equipment will include 3D printers and Computer Aided Design software which is especially relevant. This is because the dental industry has moved more towards tech-driven resources over recent years.

“We’re extremely proud to be leading on this unique project which will change technical education within the dental industry in London, bringing it firmly into the 21st century and beyond.” Said the college principal David Byrne.

Roberts Biggs, the Head of Dental Sciences at Bolton University praised the new facilities. He also acknowledged they would bring a new kind of support to the region by providing education and guidance for students and dental practitioners alike. Dentistry in Barnet will clearly never be the same again when these amazing facilities are open.
