A petrified woman gets an All-On-Four smile makeover thanks to the skill and patience of a Newcastle dentist.

Mavis Melton Chapman had a traumatic experience at the dentist when she was a young child. Due to this, she struggled for many years to attend dental check-ups. So much so that she often used superglue to mend cracks and breaks in her teeth because of her crippling fear.

This all changed, however, when Mavis discovered her long-term partner, Stephen, had been diagnosed with cancer. The couple decided to wed and she longed for perfect teeth for her wedding day. Mavis bravely underwent implant surgery using the All-On-Four method. This means that four implants are placed in the jaw and fitted with a full bridge of natural looking teeth.

Mrs. Melton Chapman had the dental implant procedure performed at the Dovetail Bespoke Dental Solutions clinic in Newcastle, which set her back a whopping £25,000. However, it is clear that she feels this was money well spent, and now has a lovely selection of wedding photographs and cherished memories to remember her big day.
