A contestant getting dental veneers has been named as one of the best moments of a US television series.
Writing for the Examiner, Shelly Fabian listed her most memorable bits of the sixth series of America’s Next Top Model in the build up to the new season.
As well as a fairy tale photo shoot and a contestant falling over in 10-inch heels, cosmetic dentistry appeared in the fan’s top moments.
The writer noted how the show’s participants went for teeth whitening treatment in the eighth episode.
"Joanie was given new veneers, fixing the snaggle tooth she had in her mouth," explained Ms Fabian.
"Danielle was also told that they could fix the gap in her teeth … she … agreed to have the gap mostly closed … to have a more Cover Girl-like smile."
The UK version of the television programme is shown on Living TV and applications for the sixth series are now open.
