Composite Resin Bonding
Composite resin bonding, or simply composite bonding, is an aesthetically-oriented conservative dentistry technique whereby composite material is employed to make improvements on the cosmetic appeal, form, and size of teeth.
Composite resin is shaped manually over the tooth and then polished to produce a natural look. Composite bonding can be used to:
- Fixing chipped teeth
- Close small gaps between teeth
- Improve tooth shape and symmetry
- Cover minor discolouration
- Restore worn edges
- Create a more uniform smile
One of the main benefits of composite bonding is the minimal use of drilling that is normally done during most procedures.
