Sevenoaks residents told to boil water before brushing.
Individuals living in Sevenoaks, Kent have been advised to boil water before brushing their teeth due to a contamination of the water supply in the area.
Cosmetic Dentistry Guide reported routine tests carried out by the Lullingstone Water Company have revealed a problem with the safety of the water supply and therefore, erring on the side of caution, 76 homes in the area have been contacted urging them to boil water before drinking or brushing their teeth.
The company noted that so far, no illness has been reported and the firm will contact those affected in the near future once the situation has been resolved and the water supply is once again safe.
Elsewhere, the Bath Chronicle recently reported that an impromptu theatre performance was held outside WH Smiths in the Bath, where 25 students spent ten minutes outside the store brushing their teeth.
Organiser of the event Joshua Picton, who is studying at Dartington College of Arts, said he enjoyed the experience and hoped to carry out other spontaneous performances in the future.
