Broken Tooth Repair Options
White fillings
This option is available if part of the tooth has broken away or if decay has formed. The dentist will clean the area and ensure all decay is removed (if necessary). Then a white filling will be added to close the area and seal it. This will protect the tooth from further damage and also strengthen it. Prices start from £75. We also offer Inlays and Onlays for larger cavities or breaks.
Dental crown
Sometimes the break is too severe for just a filling alone. Therefore, a dentist may also decide to fit a dental crown. This is made of a tooth coloured material and looks extremely natural. This restoration encases the whole tooth and protects the structure from further breakage. Prices start from £495.
Porcelain and composite veneers
For teeth that have only suffered aesthetic damage porcelain and composite veneers are a great way to improve the appearance of your smile. Veneers fit over the existing tooth and can change its shape, size, and colour. However, it is important that the tooth is healthy and free from decay before this option can be available.
