Zoom Professional Whitening System
First of all, prospective patients will be assessed to ensure that they are a suitable candidate for the procedure. Criteria for this is usually whether your teeth are healthy and free from decay, if the structure of the teeth is sound, if there is any pre-existing sensitivity and the severity of this, and whether your gums are healthy and free from disease. Once you have been given the go-ahead, your gums and soft tissues will be covered and protected and the whitening bleach will be applied to the teeth. A special LED light is then switched on to activate the bleach. The process will last around forty-five minute. Patients can expect to see up to eight shades lighter. Furthermore, the results will continue to improve over the course of a month, with up to a forty-four percent improvement within four weeks.
