Singer Ke$ha has made a strange confession about her emergency dentistry prevention regime.
Speaking to US Vanity Fair about the lyrics in her hit Tik Tok, which talks about brushing her teeth with Jack Daniel's whiskey before leaving the house, the quirky pop star claimed she does this "all the time".
"Jack Daniel's is an anti-bacterial and it's way better than morning breath … I would recommend picking up the Jack," she added.
Ke$ha is almost certain to have been joking during the magazine interview, but it may be worth underlining that whiskey is not a valid alternative to toothpaste and proper brushing.
Although alcohol may kill bacteria, the additional ingredients and the pH are also likely to cause tooth decay and require a person to need emergency dentistry.
A toothpaste containing fluoride and two minutes' worth of brushing twice a day is a much better idea.
This comes after Ke$ha revealed she wears a fan's tooth as an earring.
