Host of the ‘Tonight Show’ Jimmy Fallon has a had an unlucky few months after falling at home and almost losing a finger in June, and now the 40-year-old has recently posted a picture of himself in the dentist’s chair after the first injury lead to him chipping a tooth. Jimmy was trying to open a tube of repair gel to place on a scar following surgery to repair his finger and managed to chip his tooth.
The TV host was involved in a freak accident where he almost lost a finger due to his wedding ring catching on a counter top, almost pulling his finger off. He had to undergo a six-hour operation to repair the damage and was trying to apply some gel to reduce scarring when he somehow managed to chip his front tooth. Jimmy posted a picture of himself on Instagram sitting in the dentist’s chair, with the caption ‘Chipped front tooth trying to open tube of scar tissue repair gel for recovering finger injury. Adding ‘Thank you Dr. Jobe DDS! #Bestsummerever.’
There was no need for the presenter to take time off with this injury though, following ten days in ICU to recover from his damaged finger, and he was clear that he would be returning to the scheduled show, saying ‘Brand new Tonight Show tonight!’
