Invisalign braces have been recommended as the ideal way to transform anyone’s smile without interfering too much in their everyday lives.
DentistryIQ.com stated that the system of providing patients with clear aligners that are changed every two weeks is much better than having to have traditional braces fitted.
“Invisalign gently moves your teeth into position, all the while offering you maximum discretion,” the article commented.
The fact that Invisalign braces allow the wearer to eat, drink and brush their teeth was also highlighted as a plus point.
Should patients being treated in this way wish to add “the wow factor”, they could also consider having teeth whitening treatment after their smile has been realigned, DentistryIQ.com suggested.
At the recent British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry conference, 22 per cent of dentists said they are now using Invisalign braces to complement existing orthodontic treatments for patients.
This was put down to a growing trend for non-invasive procedures among Britons.
