A new book has revealed how Hitler hated having dental check-ups.
One of Adolf Hitler’s biggest fears has been discovered to have been undergoing emergency dentistry procedures, it has been claimed.
News Post Online reported a new book has been released in Germany which shows the Nazi leader was deeply uncomfortable about visiting the dentist.
Author of Dentist of the Devil Menevse Deprem-Hennen noted dental surgeon Johannes Blaschke was extremely proud of his 20-year role as dentist to the Fuhrer.
However, Mr Deprem-Hennen wrote: “But his patient was not so enthusiastic. He dreaded getting into the dentist’s chair. The incident about the root canal done over eight meetings highlights this phobia.”
Elsewhere, a victim of a racial attack in Swindon was recently offered free emergency dentistry treatment by a local surgery.
The Swindon Advertiser reported Stephen Tittensor, the owner of Ebenezer House Dental Practice, in Victoria Road, offered free emergency dentistry treatments to Javed Ashraf following an assault which cost him two of his teeth.
