It’s a rite of passage that every child goes through; losing a tooth and leaving it under their pillow in exchange for some pocket money, but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Shiloh has proven that even the world’s richest children can be left disappointed by the tooth fairy. The six-year-old reportedly asked her mother if she could ‘shop around’ when she received a board game rather than some money, after being told by her siblings that the tooth fairy would be happy to exchange the game for cash.
A source close to the family told the National Enquirer that Shiloh was something of a ‘traditionalist’, and commented that ‘her brothers Maddox and Pax got her all worked up after she lost a tooth and left it under her pillow, they told her to expect a big wad of cash.’ It seems that the blond tom-boy was not too pleased when she woke up and found her tooth had been taken, but no money had been left in its place. According to the source ‘she was fuming; she felt she had been ripped off.’
Even though most six-year-olds wouldn’t know what to do with a ‘big wad of cash’, Shiloh is said to have approached her parents and asked if she could get the tooth back from the tooth fairy so she could ‘get a better deal’. Apparently Angelina explained that, although life can be disappointing sometimes, this was not up for negotiation – she did however tell Brad that it might be a better idea to leave money from now on.
