A routine dentist appointment last year left mayor of London Boris Johnson in need of emergency dentist treatment, it has been revealed this week.
According to an article on This is London, the mayor was taken to hospital sometime last August after routine dentist treatment left him with a profusely bleeding mouth.
The incident led to Mr Johnson being "hours late" for an official engagement to do with England's bid for the 2018 World Cup and also saw his wife Marina rush to the hospital with a fresh clean shirt and new tie to replace his blood-stained clothing.
The source reported that the dental treatment originally undertaken was for an abscess in Mr Johnson's mouth.
