Pop star Rihanna has always been known for her strange fashion choices and now she has added some bling to her mouth by sporting some sparkling diamond teeth; the singer took to the stage on Sunday night for an impromptu performance with Jay-Z and showed off her new smile to the Wireless Festival crowd. The appearance had not been announced beforehand and fans were treated to a special rendition of the 2009 collaborative effort Run This Town, which opens with Rihanna’s vocals.
The festival was held at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London; following the performance, Rihanna posted a snap of herself baring the new teeth, with the rather crude caption ‘I’m an outlaw b***h!’ underneath it. The picture showed a diamond grill across the bottom teeth, which usually cost thousands of pounds to be custom made.
After the festival concluded, the R&B star tweeted her excitement about the crowd’s reactions, saying ‘#London you were on one tonight!! ‘Although Rihanna shared the limelight on Sunday, it was Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z that were the headline acts, each performing solo on their own night of the festival and then joining forces to wrap up proceedings.
