Although she may not have been making headlines lately, hotel heiress Paris Hilton is still determined to stay in the public eye – even if it means resorting to tweets about her dental treatment to get attention. Ms Hilton told fans via Twitter that she was getting some of her teeth extracted and she was feeling worried that the surgery would leave her with noticeably swollen cheeks, she said ‘Getting my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow. So scared. Hope it doesn’t hurt too much & hope I don’t end up having chipmunk cheeks!’
The 32-year-old socialite managed to overcome her nerves to get her four wisdom teeth removed and was quick to update her Twitter followers about the results, saying ‘Just finished. They had to remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth. Still feeling dizzy from the anesthesia (sic), hopefully the pain won’t be that bad.’
Unfortunately for the party-loving American, it seems that she had to stay in for at least one night, to recover from her surgery. The heiress was still feeling under the weather a little while later after the anaesthetic wore of; she updated followers, posting that she was ‘laying in bed’ and adding ‘Can’t sleep.
