Invisalign Lite is carried out using the same technology as traditional Invisalign Full treatment, but it is used to improve minor issues such as mildly crowded teeth.

What is the Invisalign Lite system?
Patients who undergo treatment using the Invisalign system are able to see effective results through the use of clear corrective aligners, which could provide the ideal solution for people who have previously worried about the stigma attached to wearing train track braces.
The custom-made aligners are an increasingly popular orthodontic treatment for people with tooth alignment issues, as the removable fixtures are able to be removed for eating and teeth cleaning.
Although they are able to be removed, it is recommended that patients ensure they wear the aligners for around 20-22 hours per day to ensure they are able to enjoy the results over a shorter period of time.
The Invisalign Lite system utilises the same technology as its traditional Invisalign Full counterpart, but it is designed to correct minor problems as it has far fewer aligners.
How does Invisalign Lite differ from Invisalign Full treatment?
As part of the Invisalign Lite system, a maximum of fourteen aligners will be produced by Invisalign to correct minor alignment problems. Invisalign Full treatment however can have an unlimited number of aligners as required to straighten more complex alignment cases. This means that Invisalign Lite treatment is suitable for minor cases that can be corrected with around 6.5 months of Invisalign treatment. Invisalign Full is more suitable for more complex cases that require 7-24 months of treatment.
Invisalign Lite does not have Invisalign refinement as standard. Invisalign refinement is fine tuning Invisalign treatment carried out at the end of Invisalign treatment which improves the final results. Only one Invisalign refinement can be added to the Invisalign Lite package at additional cost. Invisalign refinement comes as standard with Invisalign Full.
Can I benefit from Invisalign Lite?

Once the Invisalign Lite aligners are fitted, your Pearl Dental Clinic dentist will then need to see you every 6 weeks throughout the Invisalign process to monitor the progress of your treatment and carry out any adjustments necessary.
How much does the treatment cost?
The cost of Invisalign Lite braces is lower than Invisalign Full method as a result of the need for fewer dental appointments and lower laboratory costs, as well as the fact that Invisalign refinement is not included with Invisalign Lite.
