Case 1 – This lady wanted the gaps between her teeth closed and her teeth to be brighter in colour and more straight. We achieved this with 9 upper teeth Composite Veneers in White Shade Composite. No tooth reduction was necessary for these direct composite veneers.
Case 2 – This lady wanted her smile improved by improving the uneven level of her upper front teeth. We placed 8 direct composite veneers in white shade composite. For maintenance, composite veneers require to be polished every year or two to remove any tea/coffee stains that form on them. This can be easily carried out by a cosmetic dentist.
Case 3 – This 69 year old lady had white fillings on her upper front teeth which had stained and did not match the rest of her teeth in colour. She wanted her smile improved with Composite Veneers. We first carried out a trial smile to ensure that she was happy with our proposed smile design. As she was delighted with her trial smile, we proceeded to place 8 composite veneers in Shade B1 on her upper front teeth without any tooth reduction.
Case 4 – In this case, the patient had a missing upper right lateral incisor and gaps between his teeth. We straightened his teeth with Invisalign and placed 9 direct composite veneers in shade A1 on his upper front teeth. Using composite veneers, we have reshaped the upper right canine into the shape of the missing lateral incisor without any tooth drilling.
Case 5 – This lady was unhappy with the shade of her teeth. There were some old composite bonding on the upper front teeth which needed to be replaced. We whitened the lower teeth and placed ten composite veneers in shade white on the upper front teeth without any tooth reduction. She was delighted with the results.
Case 6 – This lady wanted her worn down front teeth buildup for a nicer smile. We build up the worn down front teeth using 8 composite veneers in shade White. No tooth reduction or dental injections were necessary.
Case 7 – This lady wanted her upper front six composite veneers replaced with whiter composite veneers and the rest of her teeth whitened. We whitened the rest of her teeth and replaced the upper front six teeth which were previously in shade A1 composites with six Bleach shade composite veneers. Composite veneers and teeth whitening do not require any tooth reduction and were carried out without any local anaesthetic injections.
Case 8 – This lady had previously had 6 composite veneers done on her upper front teeth a few years ago. However she felt that when she smiled, she did not have a full smile especially when photos were taken. She wanted a further 4 composite veneers done on her upper premolars to widen her smile. When only the front six teeth are veneered, the smile can sometimes appear artificial and narrow. We placed a further 4 composite veneers on her premolar teeth making it a total of 10 composite veneers and this gave her a nicer broader smile. This procedure is known in dentistry as the buccal corridor correction.
Case 9 – This gentleman wanted whiter teeth and wanted his upper front 10 teeth buildup with composite veneers. He also wanted the gap between his upper front teeth closed. We provided him with 10 upper composite veneers in bleach shade composite and whitened his lower teeth with enlighten home whitening. In cases where the patient grinds their teeth at night, they must wear a nightguard every night to protect their veneers against fracture.
Case 10 – This gentleman had 6 composite veneers placed some years ago. He felt however that their shade was too dark. He wanted 10 new composite veneers on his upper front teeth in a much lighter shade. We placed ten direct composite veneers on his upper front teeth in Bleach shade composite without any tooth reduction. He was delighted with the cosmetic results. Composite veneers can be polished up so well that they become as shiny and bright as porcelain veneers.
Case 11 – This gentleman wanted to have 20 composite veneers placed on his front upper and lower teeth to improve the shade and shape of his teeth. He wished to have Composite veneers constructed in bleach shade and so we constructed direct composite veneers for him over 2 visits. In bigger cosmetic dentistry cases such as this, the upper teeth veneers are usually constructed on the first visit and the lower teeth veneers are constructed on the second visit.
Case 12 – This gentleman wanted whiter and straighter teeth without having his teeth shaved down or having orthodontics. He also wanted the gaps between his teeth closed and his small upper lateral incisors made larger. We placed 8 no tooth drilling composite veneers on his upper front teeth in a single visit. We also carried out teeth whitening of the lower teeth. The result was a quick and dramatic improvement in his smile.
Case 13 – This lady has two genetically missing upper lateral incisor teeth which means she has four upper front teeth rather than the usual six upper front teeth. As a result there were large gaps between her upper front teeth which she wanted to close without shaving down her teeth or having lengthy orthodontic treatment and dental implants. We closed these gaps by placing six no tooth drilling composite veneers to reshape the front teeth to make it appear as though all the front teeth are present. Composite veneers can rapidly and relatively inexpensively transform a smile without causing damage to teeth.
Case 14 – This lady wanted her upper front 2 composite veneers replaced with new composite veneers as the previous composite veneers were 13 years old and had now chipped and discoloured. She wanted the new composite veneers to be same shade as the previous composite veneers (Shade A2). We replaced the composite veneers without any tooth reduction. Composite veneers can be carried out in one visit and do not require temporary restorations.
Case 15 – This lady wanted her teeth straightened with Invisalign and her teeth whitened and composite veneers placed to give her a more fuller smile. We carried out Invisalign to straighten her teeth, followed by teeth whitening and 10 composite veneers placed on her upper teeth to give her a more brighter smile. Straightening, whitening and composite veneers are far less damaging to teeth than ceramic veneers and can achieve a better cosmetic result.
Case 16 – This gentleman wanted the close the gaps between his upper front teeth with composite veneers. The most ideal treatment in this case would be orthodontic treatment such as Invisalign to close the gaps first and composite bonding afterwards to improve the shape of teeth. However, the patient did not wish to undergo orthodontic treatment. We placed six Shade A1 composite veneers to close the gaps between his upper front teeth in a single visit.
Case 17 – This lady wanted a fuller smile and wanted her front teeth buildup with composite veneers. She also wanted her maryland adhesive dental bridge changed to a new adhesive bridge that was whiter in colour. We provided her with 9 composite veneers on her upper front teeth and replaced her UL2 adhesive bridge with a new Zirconium white adhesive bridge. The major advantage of adhesive dental bridges is that they replace missing teeth without the need for any tooth reduction and dental injections.
Case 18 – This gentleman already had composite veneers on his upper central incisors but he wanted his upper lateral incisors edges to be made more straight as they were chipped and those teeth made wider. We added three composite veneers to the upper lateral incisors and upper left canine in shade A2 to make the teeth more straight at their tips and wider. The composite veneers on the upper central incisors are 5 years old. With good maintenance, composite veneers can last 5 years.
