Cosmetic dentistry is a good way to reduce the appearance of dental defects and get a smile as good as those seen on television.
This is according to Martin Shaffer of The Brilliant Stories, who said it is emerging as a common method of getting rid of problems such as uneven, discoloured or chipped teeth.
For slightly off-white teeth, he recommended teeth whitening, while dental veneers may be more suitable for more serious cases of yellowing.
Meanwhile, composite bonding could also be useful for cases of tooth decay, Mr Shaffer added.
"Cosmetic dentistry is now being looked upon as a way of perfecting those hitherto not-so-happy smiles," he concluded.
Earlier this month, Newsmax.com recommended dental veneers because they are designed to last forever when made from porcelain and will be made to measure by healthcare professionals to ensure a great fit.
The website suggested seeking a professional to have them fitted properly.
