Finally, a persistent unpleasant taste in the mouth or bad breath is another warning sign that is worth acknowledging.
"Gum disease … can be very serious infections. In severe cases, you can lose your teeth," the dentists remarked.
"Therefore, if you want to keep your teeth, the first step is taking care of your gums."
