The patient below, wanted to whiten his discoloured upper front incisors and close the gap between his upper front teeth. One incisor had discoloured as a result of being previously root filled and the previous composite bondings did not match the rest of the teeth in colour. The gap between the front teeth had remained despite the patient having orthodontic treatment. We carried out an internal teeth whitening technique known as inside/outside tooth whitening on the front incisor and changed both composite bondings to close the gap between the upper front teeth. No tooth reduction was necessary for these procedures which makes them a much more conservative and natural option compared to dental crowns.
