Roohi graduated as a dentist in 2006 from University of Health Sciences/Pakistan. She obtained her registration in the UK with the General Dental Council as a Dental Therapist/Hygienist.
She helps patients to achieve and maintain healthy teeth and gums by reviewing their oral health history and making appropriate dental hygiene recommendations. She has excellent communication skills to explain treatments to patients in a calm and reassuring manner, effective listening and motivational skills to educate patients to maintain healthy oral hygiene and compassion while interacting with patients of all ages.
She provides routine cleaning and teeth polishing procedures, counsel dental patients on the importance of proper oral hygiene maintenance and perform deep cleaning and scaling procedures as necessary.
She removes plaque and calculus, performs periodontal debridement and root planing, fluoride application, management of peri-implantitis and periodontal diseases as required .
She has expanded her clinical experience within dentistry by undertaking various courses to help her progress further with both her knowledge and skills. She works to a professional code of ethics and keeps up to date with new developments within the profession.
