Junaid graduated from the University of Bristol and has been committed to post-graduate education and further study. He has completed the membership diploma (MFDS) for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
His interests have always lied in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. This has led him to complete many courses including year-long certificate courses in restorative dentistry and endodontics (root canal treatment). He continued his learning in North America, where he completed further training in restorative dentistry at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. In 2015, he formalised his training with a full-time master’s degree (MSc) in conservative dentistry at the world renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute.
He has obtained many recognised awards in his career. These include the distinction award for his Masters degree at UCL Eastman, and the post-graduate prize for clinical and academic excellence. He was also nominated for the Dean’s List and the Dean’s Research Project Prize for his contribution to dental research. His research was later published internationally.
In order to deliver the best possible care for his patients, Junaid continues to learn from some of the best clinicians in the world by travelling to various parts of the globe. He now shares his knowledge with postgraduates as a senior clinical teaching fellow at the Eastman Dental Institute.
His advanced training allows him to take referrals for complex crown and bridge procedures (fixed prosthodontics), full mouth reconstructions and smile makeovers. These involve crowns, veneers and dental implant prosthodontics (implant crowns and bridges). His goal is to provide high quality, long-lasting and aesthetic results.
Junaid has always been a keen traveler and has explored various parts of the globe. But when he is at home he loves spending time with his family. When not at work, you can often find him in the gym or spending his evenings with friends.
