Dr. Ismail Sheikh graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff, in 1994. Since then, he has tried to achieve a broad exposure to dentistry, by working in general practice, in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Middlesex & Charing Cross University Hospitals, and in Special Care Dentistry.
He proceeded further in Postgraduate education, and attained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Glasgow (FDSRCPS), 1999.
Whilst working in Special Care Dentistry, he gained experience in helping & treating nervous patients, and understands that this is one of the biggest obstacles for patients, and therefore, trained in various techniques to help allay patient anxiety.
Ismail seeks to deliver patient centered care to patients, to help them on their dental journey. Endeavouring to keep abreast with the latest technological advances, he continually attends various postgraduate courses, including Endodontics & Restorative dentistry courses at the Eastman Dental Institute, and Periodontal Surgery & Restorative dentistry courses at St. George’s Hospital.
