Am I a good candidate for teeth whitening?

Whether or not you are a good candidate will be assessed by our highly trained staff. However, here are the most common reasons why people cannot or should not have a teeth whitening procedure:

• You must be over the age of 18. Patients under this age are unable to have teeth whitening as their enamel is still developing and their teeth and facial features are still growing.
• If you have sensitive teeth this can be aggravated by the whitening bleach.
• Unhealthy teeth and gums would stop a patient from being a good candidate for teeth whitening. Issues such as these would need rectifying before whitening can take place. The mouth must be completely healthy.
