Cosmetic dentistry will help a contestant from Ireland in the Miss Universe competition, according to one newspaper.
Irish publication the Herald reports that beauty pageant entrant Rozanna Purcell flew to South America and was interviewed on Columbia News TV talking about how the cosmetic treatment went.
She was invited on the trip by top pageant trainer Miguel Marinez, who offered to sponsor her entry and coach her before the competition.
“It’s a huge confidence boost for me,” the model said, adding that she is receiving a week-long course of tuition before she faces just under 100 other girls in the Las Vegas final later this month.
Ms Purcell, from Tipperary, also revealed that she intends to meet Miss Colombia Natalia Navarro to share some secrets of the pageant trade.
Cosmetic dentistry is popular among Miss Universe contestants, as former Irish entrant Lynn Kelly had some teeth whitening done before the event at a surgery in Dublin.
