Opting for Invisalign braces for your children could be a better option than getting the fitted with traditional metal ones.
This is according to the health and fitness section of Lon’s Article Directory, which said there are a number of different options available for when youngsters’ teeth do not grow in line as they should.
“In case your teenager is worried about looking ‘uncool’ in front of their friends and peers, you may want to consider orthodontic options such as lingual braces or Invisalign,” the anonymous author commented.
However, it pointed out that while lingual braces could cut the tongue, the Invisalign option will be less painful, less obtrusive and not as expensive.
Parents could consider braces for their children when they are between 11 and 15 years old, the article concluded.
Last month, DentistryIQ.com said Invisalign braces are ideal for patients who do not want their orthodontic treatment to be on their mind all day every day.
