Comedian Matt Lucas is to playa robot with bad teeth in a new animated movie. 
The Sun reported he has been given the role of Sparx in the new film Astro Boy and will play a robot created by a brilliant scientist in the image of the son he lost.
“You’ll see I’m very similar, like Sparx I have no ears and Americans often make jokes about British people having bad teeth and it’s true, Sparx being a British robot does have a tooth missing,” Matt said.
He added his character plays the leader of a revolutionary band of robots, but suffers for poor dental hygiene that ultimately plays on his mind.
Elsewhere, X Factor winner Joe McElderry recently announced he plans to have more cosmetic dentistry in order to gain the Hollywood smile.
He told Heat magazine of his plans to start working out also in a bid to bulk up and hopefully take the US by storm.
