Bad breath, also known as Halitosis, is a very common problem affecting many people and is often caused by oral hygiene problems. Halitosis can also be caused by smoking, spicey diets, gastric problems, respiratory infections, dry mouth syndrome, certain drinks such as coffee, tooth cavities, and loosely fitting dentures and braces.
At Pearl Dental Clinic, we will assess your mouth to find the cause(s) of halitosis and establish a professional hygiene program to suit your needs. Rest assured we will be able to help. Because effective cleaning at home is essential, we recommend the tools listed below.
