    Default Cleaning Lumineers

Hello, I'm thinking about getting either lumineers or veneers but I'm concerned about keeping them clean. From my understanding the dentist can use adhesive that can clog up the areas between your teeth that should be regularly flossed. Is this true? I would like to brush and floss as usual rather than have to take alternative measures. Which would be the better choice lumineers or veneers? Please inform me about the differences hygienically.

    Default Cleaning Lumineers

    Hi,

    Thank you for your question.

There is no difference between cleaning veneers or Lumineers. One should be able to clean both of them in the usual way which is flossing and brushing. There should be no excess cement material between the veneers and one should be easily able to floss them without any clogging.
Once the veneers are fitted the dentist should remove the cement interdentally (between the teeth).
