    Cool nhs veneers

    Hello

I have two nhs veneers fitted on my front teeth about a month ago. My previous veneers were done about 15 years ago and recently chipped, so I needed to have new veneers made to replace them.

When the porcelain veneers were fitted I actually thought that they looked reasonable but actually later on at home, I realized that the veneers were too bulky. They look too bulky from the front and also too long.

I was very happy with my previous veneers from a looks point of view, but I absolutely hate these new nhs veneers. Is there anything that can be done with these veneers to make them look better or do I need to have them changed?

    Arrow NHS veneers

    Thank you for your post.

It is possible to reshape porcelain veneers but they will then lose their glaze and will not be as smooth and shiny. The only other way is to remove the veneers and remake them.

Its always best to show patients their veneers before they are cemented and we always do that at Pearl. At that point if you wish to modify the shape of the veneers, it can be done and reglazed before its cemented.
